Yoga for a Cause

75-minute power yoga led by Danielle Ward

Thirsty Moose in Portsmouth, NH

March 24th, 2024 at 10 am

All proceeds donated to Chevy's Journey, a foundation for pets & owners in need.

Just like your yoga practice, animals have a unique way of reminding us about what's important in life. Whether you are on your mat or snuggling your pup on an early morning, yoga and pets help us remember to pause and enjoy the moment.

But oftentimes these sweet pup souls can be challenged with health issues that result in extensive care and large vet bills. Chevy's Journey seeks to provide owners with financial support for dogs (and owners) in need.

Join Danielle Ward (RYT500), in partnership with Hannah Wells, owner of Exeter's Veterinary Wellness Center, for a 75-minute power yoga practice at the Thirsty Moose in Portsmouth on Sunday, March 24th at 10 am. This donation-based class is raising funds for Chevy's Journey - 100% of the proceeds will be donated directly to the foundation. If you love yoga and/or dogs, consider joining your fellow yogis for a flow dedicated to all the pups who make every moment matter.

75-minute power flow & restorative yoga.

Assists & reiki with Tracey Coviello & Kata Catapano (ERYT500 yoga masters)

Stay after the yoga class for a free app & drink!

About Chevy's Journey

Named in honor of Danielle Ward's dog Chevy, this foundation seeks to provide owners with financial support for animals in need, providing complete care, including alternative services such as acupuncture, holistic integrative approaches to wellness and more. Chevy's Journey helps owners make the most of each moment with their pup. Chevy's Journey began 13 years ago and culminated in the summer of 2023 while on a cross country road trip with her family. Chevy was able to spend the last few months of her life seeing the country, adventuring, and fiercely loving her human family.

"She has literally been the foundation and definition of BRAVERY for me," says Danielle. "She endured so much and always kept going."

This foundation seeks to ensure that all dogs and their humans are able to joy the entire journey - beginning to end. You never know where it will take you.
